Two-stage coalescing filter separators developed by AMETECS are compact, all-steel units. It uses a coalescer cartridge and a second stage separator cartridge and is designed for most efficient removal of water and solids from fuels. The filters work on the coalescing and gravity settling principle and their application falls in the field of light viscosity, low density and high interfacial tension liquids.

The cartridges we offer in our separators are stainless steel, designed to overcome the temperature and chemical compatibility limitations of fabric or synthetic fiber media. The cartridges can be offered in SS 304, SS 316 & SS 316 L materials and can be plain cylindrical or pleated configuration to increase filtration area.
